Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of our patients. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting patient evaluations, and providing patients with education and support. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Conduct patient evaluations and assessments, as well as document results Provide patients with education and support throughout their rehabilitation journey Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Active certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; willingness to obtain if not already certified

Work Environment:
