Sunrise Health & Rehab Center is looking for an experienced full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team! Physical Therapy Assistants work closely with Physical Therapists and other PTAs to provide rehabilitative care to residents. Sign On Bonus of $6,000.00 Competitive pay

PTA Key Responsibilities:

Counsel residents and their families on what to do following treatment. Observe the residents they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist. Assign specific exercises for the resident and help the patients do these exercises. Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help residents regain movement and reduce pain. Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat residents. Assist residents when moving to and from the therapy area.

PTA Requirements:

Candidates considered must possess a valid Florida PTA License. Must have at least (1) year experience as a PTA in a long-term care setting. Must be friendly, professional and reliable. We look forward to hearing from you!
