Physical Therapist Assistant (Pelvic Floor Specialty) Columbus, GA |
Core Pelvic Health and Wellness About Us:
Core Pelvic Health and Wellness is a private pelvic floor physical therapy clinic dedicated to helping women, men, and teens overcome pelvic health challenges. We provide one-on-one, compassionate care in a supportive, healing environment.
Position:
We're looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about patient care and excited to grow in the pelvic health specialty. Pelvic floor experience is a plus, but not required — we provide mentorship and training.
Responsibilities:
Provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT Assist with patient education and therapeutic exercise programs Document patient progress accuratelyin a user-friendly EMR- without the hassle of insurance demands. Contribute to a welcoming, professional clinic environment Provide a range of interventions to include patient education, manual therapy, functional analysis, exercise prescription, use of modalities, internal treatments when appropriate, etc. Collaborate with referring providers, fitness professionals, and wellness partners Participate in occasional workshops, wellness events, or educational content creation (optional)
Qualifications:
Current Georgia PTA license (required) Strong communication and teamwork skills Interest in pelvic health and willingness to learn Professional, compassionate, and motivated
