This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, is organized, and is passionate about health and wellness. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a positive experience for our patients while supporting the chiropractic team in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with excellent patient service skills. Duties As a Chiropractic Assistant/ Shockwave Technician, your responsibilities will include: Utilizing knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic protocols. Assist the Doctor with patient care and therapy procedures. Perform various therapeutic treatments on patients as directed. Help assist with treatments such as Class IV Laser, Neuropathy, Spinal Decompression, Shockwave Therapy etc. Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for each patient. Keep the office clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Educate patients about services, therapies, and home care recommendations. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Experience The ideal candidate should have: High School Diploma required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in chiropractic or physical therapy environments. A solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with familiarity with medical terminology. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service to create an inviting experience for all patients. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
