Job Description

Job Summary Waukon Family Chiropractic is seeking a personable, adaptable, and clinically minded Clinical Chiropractic Assistant to join our growing clinic team part-time. This role is focused primarily on assisting with supportive therapies, patient education, home exercise instruction, and overall clinical flow within the office, with some front desk and administrative responsibilities mixed in throughout the week. Because this position involves assisting with therapies such as shockwave and soft tissue-based care, a strong working knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and human movement is essential. This is not simply a reception position. The ideal candidate should already have a solid educational foundation in anatomy, physiology, and healthcare-related coursework. This position also offers long-term growth potential for the right candidate, including opportunities to learn office management, insurance and billing workflows, scheduling systems, and behind-the-scenes clinic operations over time. Responsibilities Assisting with supportive therapies including: Shockwave therapy, Electric stimulation, Ultrasound, Cupping Assisting with soft tissue and muscle-focused therapy setup Walking patients through doctor-prescribed home exercises and stretches Answering patient questions regarding assigned exercises and therapy flow Preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms and equipment Assisting with patient flow throughout the clinic Supporting a positive and welcoming patient experience Greeting/checking in patients during designated front desk shifts Scheduling appointments and answering phones Scanning/uploading patient paperwork Assisting with inventory and general clinic organization Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field OR Current enrollment in a healthcare-related program with completed anatomy and physiology coursework Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology Ability to identify major muscle groups and anatomical landmarks Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail Comfort learning hands-on supportive therapies and clinical workflows Opportunity for long-term growth into office management, billing, and clinic operations for the right candidate.
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
