We are dedicated to helping our community achieve optimal health, pain relief, and long-term wellness through natural, holistic care. We are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and highly organized Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our practice, managing the front desk while directly supporting our chiropractors in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities Patient Check-In & Check-Out:
Greet every patient with warmth, manage patient intake forms, verify demographic details, and handle patient flow through the clinic.
Scheduling & Communication:
Manage the clinic's calendar, answer multi-line phone calls, respond to emails, and make confirmation calls to minimize missed appointments.
Financial Management:
Collect copays, deductibles, and self-pay fees; process credit card transactions; and explain care plan fees clearly to patients.
Insurance Coordination:
Verify chiropractic benefits with health insurance providers and assist with basic medical billing documentation.
Clinical Support:
Prepare treatment rooms, escort patients to adjusting tables, record basic vital signs or history, and assist the doctor with passive therapies (e.g., decompression, electrical stimulation, or hot/cold packs) as directed and allowed by state law.
Office Maintenance:
Keep the reception area, front desk, and treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully sanitized throughout the day.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years of experience in a front desk receptionist, medical assistant, or customer service role is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with and motivate people.
Multitasking:
Proven ability to manage a busy phone line while keeping a physical lobby running smoothly.
Tech-Savviness:
Proficiency with computers, electronic health records (EHR) software, and multi-line phone systems.
