Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current state licensure as a PTA (or eligibility) Understanding of the APTA Code of Ethics Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills Experience in hospital-based or rehabilitation settings preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy interventions as delegated by a supervising PT Employ a variety of treatment approaches and appropriate manual techniques Monitor patient safety and comfort, and modify care in response to progress Educate patients and caregivers with tailored guidance Maintain accurate, compliant patient records and documentation Collaborate with facility staff to create a clean and effective therapeutic environment
