Licensed Massage Therapist and Chiropractic Assistant

Ideal Family Health Center Arlington Heights, IL 60005 847-357-0636 At Ideal Family Health Center, we are a multidisciplinary chiropractic clinic offering a range of treatments including chiropractic care, acupuncture, clinical massage, physical therapy, and more. We are currently seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team part time. This role involves providing professional clinical massage therapy, in accordance with clinic policies and protocols. You will utilize approved modalities and design individualized treatment sessions based on patient needs alongside the Doctor.

Hours:

Tuesday (8:30-1pm 2pm-7:30) Thursday (8:30-1pm 2pm-7:30) Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday (By Appointment Only)

Compensation:

Admin pay: $20 per hour

Clinical Service Hour Rate:

$30 per service hour

Appointment Based Hourly Massage Rate:

$ 45-$50 (based on experience) We offer a blended compensation model to help ensure a consistent and stable income. Admin pay applies whenever you're in the clinic during patient visit hours (Tuesday and Thursday). The Clinical Service Hour rate is on top of the admin pay. When working on patients on Tuesday and Thursdays you will receive $30 for every service hour worked. Most patients receive a 20-25 minute massage during treatment. On Wednesday afternoons, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings we offer 60 minute massages for patients and non-patients. When you perform massages on these days you will get $45-$50 per service hour.

Massage Therapist Responsibilities:

Deliver professional clinical massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs. Create an excellent patient experience with a friendly, welcoming, and helpful attitude. Ensure reliable and punctual attendance; work all scheduled shifts and stay for the full duration. Complete accurate and thorough chart documentation as required by the lead doctor. Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times. Assist with front desk duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. Respond to patient and visitor inquiries both in person and over the phone. Directly helping with daily duties to maintain a clean office environment. Optimize provider and room utilization by managing time efficiently. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic privacy standards. Follow clinic policies and procedures, and report any necessary updates or improvements. Contribute to a team-centered environment by assisting coworkers and asking for help when needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Massage Therapist Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited massage therapy school and certificate of completion. Current Illinois Massage Therapist License in good standing. Ongoing participation in continuing education (preferred). Must comply with all state and local regulations for massage therapy. Clinical experience with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and shoulder impingement. Familiarity and hands-on experience with modalities offered at Ideal Family Health Center.
