Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with current state licensure Experience in a hospital-based therapy setting is highly desired Familiarity with a variety of treatment approaches and physical therapy modalities Commitment to APTA Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate and assist patients Ability to function independently within thePTA Practice Act Primary Responsibilities:
Administer physical therapy treatments as assigned by supervising PT Monitor patient progress, making adjustments as needed and providing timely updates to the PT Deliver individualized patient and caregiver education Ensure thorough, accurate documentation of patient progress Maintain compliance with certifications and authorizations for third-party payers Collaborate with facility staff to foster a clean, effective rehab environmentBenefits and Perks:
