Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Licensure as a PTA (or eligibility) in Illinois Demonstrated competency in implementing physical therapy procedures Knowledgeable in current therapy techniques, equipment, and documentation practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient motivation and education Familiarity with compliance and documentation standards (third party payers, certifications, authorizations)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver treatment interventions as delegated by supervising PT in accordance with the patient's plan of care Apply a variety of evidence-based manual techniques and treatment modalities Ensure patient safety and comfort, adapting interventions as needed Provide individualized caregiver and patient education Monitor and document patient progress using approved medical and facility documentation systems Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe working environment Support the multidisciplinary care team as needed
