Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Chiropractor Assistant to support our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assisting chiropractors with patient assessments, treatment preparations, and ensuring a smooth clinical workflow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excellent patient care skills. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on pain management and occupational health. Duties Observe and monitor patient responses during chiropractic treatments and report findings to the chiropractor Assist with patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluating symptoms related to acute pain or injury Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for chiropractic procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning Support chiropractors in implementing care plans, including trigger point therapy and other manual therapies Educate patients on post-treatment care and exercises to promote recovery and wellness Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment notes, and progress reports using appropriate medical terminology Assist in the administration of therapies related to pain management and occupational health concerns Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge in patient observation, pain management, or primary care is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to perform basic physical examinations and patient assessments Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage documentation accurately Must be bilingual English/Spanish. This position is essential for supporting effective chiropractic treatments while fostering a caring environment for patients seeking relief from pain or injury.
