Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program Current (or eligible) PTA license in Illinois Skilled in therapy techniques, modalities, and manual therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong commitment to patient care and ethics (adheres to the APTA Code of Ethics) Experience documenting patient progress and maintaining detailed patient records

Responsibilities:

Implement physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT Safeguard patient comfort and safety during all procedures Tailor and modify treatment based on patient progress, in coordination with the PT Provide individualized patient and caregiver education Accurately document patient progress and ensure compliance with all requirements Assist with maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment Seek out educational opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current in practice
