Key Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Actively participate in patient care meetings and contribute to staffing conferences. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement individualized treatment plans. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques to enhance recovery. Accurately maintain documentation of patient care and progress. Assist with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures as instructed. Provide a variety of treatments, including but not limited to: Therapeutic exercises Gait and balance training Manual therapy Functional training Use of physical modalities and equipment

Qualifications:

Current Illinois PTA licensure (or willingness to obtain). Proficiency in therapy documentation systems (NetHealth preferred). Ready to Help Patients Move Forward? Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current Illinois PTA licensure (or ability to obtain)

Required Experience:

Experience in implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a rehab team Experience in educating patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques Participation in patient care meetings and staffing conferences

Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in therapy documentation systems (e.g., NetHealth preferred)
