Job Description

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) provides quality rehabilitation services to those facing life-changing injuries or illnesses. We specialize in the areas of brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex medical conditions. RHI is the only Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System in the state of Indiana and one of only 16 in the U.S. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, along with a 401k match and tuition reimbursement program. SUMMARY This Therapy Technician position exists to provide support services to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies by performing designated tasks under the direct supervision of licensed/ certified/registered therapists for the rehabilitation population from age 15 and older.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support patient care by assisting therapists as directed with treatment for patients Provide support services to staff, which may include transporting patients, clerical tasks, patient supervision, and scheduling Maintain communication with therapists regarding each patient's reactions, responses, and/or changes in performance or behavior Cleans organizes and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment Assist with creating and delivering of patient's/therapist's schedules as needed Assist in providing high quality and evidence-based therapy as well as maintenance of department per regulatory standards. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
