Job Description

Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) Hutchinson, KS We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed Observe, record, and report patient responses and progress Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safety techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff Qualifications Current Certified Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in good standing in Kansas Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey Knowledge of therapy equipment, treatment procedures, and documentation standards Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred Key Skills Patient care and compassion Communication and teamwork Documentation accuracy Time management Physical stamina Attention to detail Schedule and Work Environment Full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities available Home health setting Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients throughout the day Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan options Continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
