Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Hutchinson. As a PTA with Specialized Home Care, you will provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Our team is committed to delivering top clinical outcomes and patient experience scores.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the physical therapist in following physical therapy care plans Prepare clinical and progress notes and help develop the treatment plan (revising as necessary) Perform therapy services in line with the care plan and physician orders Consult with the physical therapist regarding changes in treatment Instruct patients and caregivers on in-home programs and activities of daily living Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute to patient updates, discharge planning, etc. Advise and consult with agency personnel and patient family/caregivers Confirm on a weekly basis the scheduling of visits with the supervising physical therapist, care team, office staff, etc.
