Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the physical therapist
  • Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience in LTC setting is a plus
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to provide excellent patient care and support
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
  • Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
  • Experience working in a hospital or LTC setting is beneficial We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a PRN capacity.
