Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people. Shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Job Summary The technician's primary function is to assist in carrying out patient-related activities which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by the physical therapist. The technician's secondary function is to carry out departmental-related activities as determined by his/her immediate supervisor such as general cleaning, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, processing paperwork, making copies, and sending faxes.
