Job Description

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location:
Louisiana Contract Length:

Weeks Shift:
Days - 5x8s (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required First-time travelers considered based on experience Experience with acute care, rehab, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and medically complex patients preferred Ability to manage caseload independently and work within a multidisciplinary team
License Required:
Current Louisiana PTA License BLS Certification Charting Systems:
Meditech Expanse Epic WellSky Patient Population:
Acute Care Inpatient Rehab Orthopedic Neuro Cardiac Pediatrics Skilled Nursing Call Requirement:
No Weekend Requirement:
No weekends for outpatient; acute/IPR may require occasional weekend coverage
Floating:
No floating between facilities
Scrub Color:
Pewter or Professional Dress (Outpatient)
