Fultz PT is locally owned by a single Physical Therapist, so this allows us to create a work environment that is truly employee-centered without being micromanaged. .
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and assist with therapeutic exercises and treatments. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to their rehabilitation journey.
  • Pay is negotiable, will depend on experience, and can be tailored to fit your individual needs.
  • Duties:
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation centers preferred
  • Proficiency in providing patient care, including therapeutic exercises and trigger point therapy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
