The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide skilled rehabilitation services that help patients improve mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Weekly Hours:
35 Hours Guaranteed Requirements Minimum 1 year of PTA experience Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required Active Massachusetts PTA License New graduates may be considered if they have completed a Level II clinical rotation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team Knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic interventions, and patient care documentation Responsibilities Provide rehabilitative treatments and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence Administer therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, manual techniques, and physical modalities as directed Utilize supportive and assistive devices to enhance patient outcomes Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist Modify treatment approaches based on patient response and therapist recommendations Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the electronic medical record Record treatment minutes and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility requirements Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and interdisciplinary team discussions Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued care and equipment needs Support clinical education activities and student supervision as appropriate Adhere to all professional, ethical, state, and organizational standards of practice

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
