Join our team in Bowie, MD for a 14-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This position follows an 08:00 AM-04:30 PM schedule.

Compensation:

Travel rate $1,383/35 hrs; Local rate $1,362/35 hrs.

Requirements:

Active, valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, medical history collection, and goal setting. Implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Apply therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively. Teach patients and families exercise techniques and home programs to promote recovery and long-term function. Document treatments, patient response, and progress accurately and timely. Coordinate care and communicate treatment plans with the PT and interdisciplinary team. Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean, secure therapy environment. Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
