Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing healthcare team in Colora, Maryland. As a PTA, you will work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.
Implement prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of Physical TherapistsConduct therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniquesAssist patients with mobility, strength training, and functional activitiesDocument patient progress and maintain accurate treatment recordsEducate patients and families about exercises and home programsSet up and maintain therapy equipmentCollaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomesMonitor and report patient responses to treatmentMaintain a safe and clean treatment environmentParticipate in team meetings and care planning sessionsQualificationsGraduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent Maryland state license or ability to obtain promptlyValid CPR certificationOutpatient orthopedic experience preferredStrong manual therapy and exercise instruction skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated proficiency in therapeutic modalitiesComprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiologyStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and complianceAbility to multi-task and manage time effectivelyCompassionate approach to patient careTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skillsPhysical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercisesAdditional InformationThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $28.00-$38.00. Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
