Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing healthcare team in Colora, Maryland. As a PTA, you will work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services
- Implement prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of Physical Therapists
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
- Assist patients with mobility, strength training, and functional activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
- Educate patients and families about exercises and home programs
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and report patient responses to treatment
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment
- Participate in team meetings and care planning sessionsQualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Maryland state license or ability to obtain promptly
- Valid CPR certification
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong manual therapy and exercise instruction skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic modalities
- Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercisesAdditional InformationThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $28.00
