$1477.00•$1521.00 This experienced Physical Therapist Assistant position is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a vibrant and diverse community in the heart of Montgomery County. Gaithersburg is known for its welcoming neighborhoods, excellent schools, and convenient access to both urban and outdoor amenities. Located within easy reach of Washington, D.C., Rockville and Bethesda, it offers the best of both worlds: a relaxed suburban feel with big-city culture, dining and entertainment just a short drive or transit ride away. Gaithersburg residents enjoy a high quality of life, with plenty of parks, walking and biking paths, sports fields and community recreation centers. The city features attractive town centers, local restaurants, shopping, and seasonal events that bring the community together. From nearby lakes and nature preserves to museums and performing arts venues throughout the region, there is no shortage of things to do when you are off the clock. The outpatient clinic setting offers a professional, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will join an experienced group of clinicians who value collaboration, open communication and ongoing learning. The clinic serves a broad outpatient population and typically sees patients with orthopedic, sports-related and post-surgical conditions, allowing you to refine and expand your expertise in a focused setting. As an experienced PTA, you will work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists and play a key role in helping patients restore function, decrease pain and return to the activities they enjoy. Your typical day may include assisting with evaluations, carrying out individualized treatment plans, progressing exercise programs, performing therapeutic activities, providing patient education, and documenting care in the EMR. You can expect a steady, productive caseload with scheduled 1:1 or small-group patient sessions, depending on the clinic's model. The clinic environment is designed to support efficiency and clinical excellence, with well-equipped treatment areas, therapeutic exercise equipment and private or semi-private treatment spaces. You will be working with a population that appreciates clear communication, compassionate care and consistent follow-through, and your ability to manage time and prioritize tasks will be important. Schedules and shifts are typically daytime hours on weekdays, with the possibility of some extended or evening hours to meet patient demand. The role is ideal for a PTA who is confident in an outpatient setting, enjoys a fast-paced clinic environment, and is looking for meaningful work in a community that offers both professional satisfaction and a great place to live.Required Qualifications Physical Therapist Assistant, Outpatient Experience:
