Job Description

Physical Therapy Assistant About this jobIf you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Outpatient setting this North East, MD position might be what you are looking for!
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
  • Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications:
  • Completion of accredited PTA program
  • Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
  • MD PTA licensure/certification
  • First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended Job details:

$1,591.63 - $1,640.86 / week
