Job Description
Ref #: 9143163 We're looking for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join a contract, local role in Waterville, ME. This is a 13-week, non-travel assignment starting August 10, 2026, with a Monday-Friday schedule. Compensation for local clinicians is $1,239 per 35-hour week. What you'll need A valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license. What you'll be doing Work alongside the Physical Therapist to help evaluate patients and carry out prescribed interventions and exercise programs. Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment to support rehabilitation. Teach and coach patients on exercise routines and explain home programs to patients and their families to support recovery. Keep accurate, timely patient records and communicate effectively with the PT and the broader healthcare team. Follow safety guidelines and infection control procedures at all times.
