Responsiblities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical impairments and functional limitations
- Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams
- Implement a variety of physical therapy interventions to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and other conditions
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and home programs to enhance recovery
- Utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive devices to support patient rehabilitation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists
- Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy research and contribute to evidence-based practice
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current and valid state licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant
- Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensure requirements
