About Us Performance Rehab is a leading outpatient physical therapy clinic in Dearborn Heights, MI , dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and restore their quality of life. We provide advanced rehabilitation services in a supportive, patient-focused environment. We are proud to serve as a clinical affiliate site for Wayne State University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Henry Ford Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program , giving us the opportunity to mentor the next generation of physical therapy professionals while delivering exceptional care to our patients. Position Summary We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. This position is ideal for PTAs who want to grow professionally, work in an orthopedic and musculoskeletal setting, and be part of a clinic that values education, mentorship, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized outpatient physical therapy treatments Provide hands-on care and guide patients through therapeutic exercises Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention Document patient progress in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards Maintain a clean, professional, and safe clinical environment Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality outcomes Qualifications Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Michigan PTA license (or eligibility) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal therapy experience preferred New graduates encouraged to apply - mentorship available Some of the benefits of our clinic include : Competitive compensation package Manual Care training & mentorship PTO package Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Generous Con Ed allowance Retirement Plan At Performance Rehab we are building a business and culture to be proud of.
