Job Description

Job Summary This position requires availability to work Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday each week. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and organized voice of our office, providing exceptional patient service while supporting the daily administrative and clinical operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to health and wellness. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and assist with appointment scheduling using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries and direct calls efficiently. Perform intake procedures including data entry, updating patient information, and reviewing medical histories for accuracy. Assist chiropractors with clinical tasks such as preparing treatment rooms, documenting care plans, and reviewing medical documentation for completeness. Verify insurance benefits, process claims accurately using CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards, and ensure proper documentation review for billing purposes. Maintain organized medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Support front desk operations by handling patient check-in/out, filing paperwork, managing appointment reminders, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions promptly and maintaining a positive clinic atmosphere. Qualifications Previous clinic experience or medical office management background preferred, Strong communication skills coupled with courteous phone etiquette for front desk interactions. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Application Question(s): If a patient walks in upset about a scheduling mistake, how would you handle the situation to ensure they feel heard and valued?
