Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Coverage Area:
Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb Counties Pay Range:
$50

  • Ability to grow your caseload quickly if desired Position Overview We are looking for a dependable and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping individuals improve mobility, strength, and overall function. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT Accurately document each visit in a timely manner Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care Maintain compliance with all clinical and documentation standards Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active PTA license in the State of Michigan Home health experience is a plus, but not required Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a home health setting Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and communication within healthcare teams. Ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers safely (with appropriate equipment)
