As a PTA in home care, you will help patients regain movement, balance, and independence in the environment where they live every day. You will guide them through exercises, reinforce therapy plans, and help them safely perform the activities needed to stay in their home. Physical Therapist Assistant | PTA Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatment visits in patient homes. Carry out therapy plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with strengthening, balance, and mobility training. Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety techniques. Monitor patient progress and report updates to the PT. Complete documentation accurately in EMR. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members. Physical Therapist Assistant | PTA Qualifications Active Minnesota Physical Therapist Assistant license. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently in a field setting. Strong communication and patient interaction skills. Home care experience preferred but not required.
