Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an Avenir at Mark Twain. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient-centered care across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy and medical terminology, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through specialized therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, fostering recovery and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Assess patients' conditions thoroughly, utilizing knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop personalized care plans. Administer targeted therapies, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions across care settings. Provide expert patient care in various environments such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health visits. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress and update care plans accordingly. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care protocols. Support the overall operational efficiency by adhering to healthcare regulations and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in physiotherapy with a focus on trigger point therapy and patient care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diverse patient populations. Prior experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and acute care procedures. Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans for patients across various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Relevant licensure or certification in physiotherapy or related healthcare field is required.
