PTA/DOR: Physical Therapist Assistant - Director of Rehabilitation

Job Overview Sovereign Healthcare Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to serve as the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) at a skilled nursing facility in Cinton, MO. This is a dual-role position ideal for a clinically skilled and self-motivated PTA who is ready to step into a leadership role. Travel milage and drive time reimbursement provided between facilities. In this position, you'll split your time between hands-on patient care and rehab department management, leading a team of dedicated therapists while helping residents regain their independence and functional ability. Key Responsibilities Clinical (PTA): Deliver high-quality, goal-oriented therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Monitor and document patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate Maintain productivity expectations of approximately 80% clinical care. Leadership (DOR): Manage daily operations of the rehab department Oversee therapy scheduling, screenings, and staff coordination Attend interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate with facility leadership Promote clinical excellence, compliance, and positive team dynamics

Qualifications:

Current PTA license in the state of Missouri (required)
