Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in providing treatments that help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and enhance overall function. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques. Educate patients on proper techniques and assistive device usage. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate and compliant records of therapy sessions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and treatment sessions.
Qualifications Education:
Associate degree from an accredited
Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure:
Valid state license to practice as a
Physical Therapy Assistant Experience:
Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
Certifications:
