Performs physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Communicates progress to intradepartmental staff and interdepartmental staff. May assist with supervision of PTA students. Maintains equipment and departmental supplies.
Minimum Requirements
Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues Physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, gross and fine-motor skills. Must maintain certification in BCLS for continued employment.
Preferred
Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program One-year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
