Under the direction of the department director and the clinical supervisors, assists with providing quality therapy services. Rehab technician to work in the Physical Therapy department at NKC Health, assisting both acute care and outpatient team members. Duties will include, but not limited to, patient transport, patient transfer assistance, patient support for advanced activities such as ambulation, balance retraining, etc. Will support clerical and filing tasks for both outpatient and acute care patient needs, including printing orders, recording orders, building charts, breaking down charts, etc. Will assist with supply stocking and ordering for the rehab department and assist with cleaning and department organization. All tasks are on-the-job training by our team members. An individual must have the physical ability to walk and support patient transfers. This is a very active role. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. No weekends or holidays for this role. Background as a CNA or medical assistant is ideal but not required. EXPERIENCE
Must be a high school graduate.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to understand oral and written instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT
Required:
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
