SMRMC PRN 1460-Pt Rehab Therapy Tech-7093 Outpt Rehab

Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Rehab Services the Rehab technician uses the rehab process to safely assist the Physical Therapist with treatment for patient with Rehab needs The Rehab Technician provides assistant to the physical therapist, speech therapist and the occupational therapist. The Technician assists patient to reach the examination and treatment rooms. Under the directions of licensed therapist will perform treatments such as massage therapy and electric muscle stimulation. The technician will assist patient with exercises and other physical activities. The Technician will work a 40 hour week Monday thru Friday. The Out-Patient Rehab Technician is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures and regulations for the department and organization. The Technician must be able to work and relate in a professional non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients and visitors.
