Job Summary:
As the Chiropractic Assistant in our Mathews office, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily administrative and operational functions of the office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care and have a positive experience during their visits. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Answer phones, respond to messages, and handle front desk duties Assist with patient intake and documentation Support the chiropractor during therapies and procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas Verify insurance information and process payments Educate patients on office procedures and wellness care plansQualifications:
Certification as a Chiropractic Assistant is a plus and will be mandatory upon assuming the role . Prior experience in a similar role, especially within a healthcare or clinical environment, is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficiency in utilizing medical software and databases. Knowledge of chiropractic and clinical procedures is a plus. A commitment to patient care and fostering a positive clinic environment. Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining records and managing administrative tasks efficiently.Core Competencies:

A Chiropractic Assistant must demonstrate exemplary customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. This includes engaging patients, being receptive and responsive to their needs, and appropriately addressing any patient questions or concerns.Effective Communication:
A Chiropractic Assistant must communicate effectively and respectfully with patients and team members via phone, via email, and via EHR system messaging. They should be able to listen effectively and express themselves in a clear and articulate manner. I nformationCollection & Management:
A Chiropractic Assistant must be able to collect, organize, and monitor data accurately and efficiently. This data includes Protected Health Information (PHI), which must be handled in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA). All personal information (PHI) must be kept in a locked and secure location.Multi-Tasking & Adaptability:
A Chiropractic Assistant must be able to multi-task and adjust their approach to meet changing demands and stressful situations.Personal & Professional Ethics:
A Chiropractic Assistant must have integrity and honesty in this position. Adherence to professional ethics as delineated by the clinic and federal regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is required.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Chiropractic Assistant Certification required.Experience:
Associate degree or higher in a relevant field (such as public health, social work, healthcare administration) is preferred. Office management, supervisor, or leadership experience in a relevant field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered in the absence of an Associate degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Must work during scheduled regular office hours with the occasional opportunity of weekends for events.Physical and Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms to assist patients and/or clinic staff. Occasionally assists with moving wheelchair bound patients, clinical equipment, and office supplies up to 35 pounds.Mental Demands:
