Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Therapy Assistant to support our chiropractic team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, along with experience in outpatient or clinic settings. This role involves assisting with patient intake, providing post-acute care, and ensuring a smooth clinical operation that prioritizes patient service and safety. Responsibilities Assist chiropractors with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and explaining treatment plans. Support patient care activities by preparing treatment areas and ensuring proper equipment sterilization. Monitor patient progress and provide post-acute care instructions under supervision. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment notes, and medical records in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate patients on wellness strategies, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate inpatient, outpatient, and sub-acute care services. Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health standards to promote safety and efficiency. Experience Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings with exposure to outpatient or inpatient care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and orthopedics is essential. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient service and care across diverse populations including geriatrics. Experience working within hospital medicine or post-acute care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with acute care protocols, inpatient procedures, and outpatient clinic operations enhances effectiveness in this role. Sub-acute or geriatrics care experience will be considered an asset for supporting specialized patient needs. Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
