As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients by providing individualized, patient-centered care and rehabilitation services. Ambassador Physical Therapy is a multi-site private practice committed to delivering exceptional care rooted in faith, integrity, and compassion. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic and sports rehabilitation team and help patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. Responsibilities Instruct, motivate, and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities Observe patient responses and communicate progress to the supervising physical therapist Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home exercises and self-care strategies Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy Uphold all legal, ethical, and HIPAA standards Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues Qualifications Associate degree or certification from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current North Carolina PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation software Commitment to lifelong learning ongoing professional development Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach Why Join Us?
