Job Description

Job Summary Join our wellness team as a Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and seamless clinic operations. In this multifaceted role, you will be the friendly face patients see first, managing front desk duties, scheduling appointments, and supporting the chiropractor with administrative and clinical tasks. Your proactive approach will ensure our patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for from their initial contact through their treatment journey. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth. Schedule appointments efficiently, manage patient flow, and coordinate follow-up visits to optimize clinic productivity. Maintain accurate and organized medical records and files in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Answer phone professionally with excellent phone etiquette; provide exceptional customer service to address patient inquiries and concerns. Assist chiropractor with intake procedures, medical documentation review, and updating the health information management system Jane. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing office supplies and supplements to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements Experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting; clinic or experience is highly preferred. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and medical records management. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion following HIPAA guidelines; experience with health information management is preferred. Clerical skills including filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing multi-line phone systems confidently.
