This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced professional in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy Assistant or a related healthcare field who is passionate about rehabilitation, movement science, and improving patient outcomes. Our clinic specializes in scoliosis-specific rehabilitation for adolescents and adults. This position offers specialty training and professional development. Team members will receive advanced scoliosis-specific rehabilitation certification training within the first months of hire, along with continuing education opportunities provided by the clinic. Position Overview The core of this position involves hands-on patient care through the implementation of scoliosis-specific exercise and rehabilitation programs. Under the supervision of our providers, the Exercise Physiologist/Kinesiologist will guide patients through individualized therapeutic exercise programs and scoliosis-specific rehabilitation protocols. This role also includes patient documentation, progress tracking, report writing assisted by EMR software, and collaboration with the clinical team to support excellent patient outcomes. - Perform patient assessments and assist in establishing individualized treatment goals
- Develop and implement personalized scoliosis-specific exercise programs
- Guide and monitor patients during therapeutic exercise sessions to ensure proper technique and progression
- Assist with scoliosis-specific rehabilitation and traction protocols under provider supervision
- Educate patients on incorporating corrective exercises into daily activities and long-term wellness routines
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, progress reports, and EMR records
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented clinical environment Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field required
- Willingness to complete advanced scoliosis-specific rehabilitation certifications provided by the clinic
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for patient care, rehabilitation, and movement science
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are essential
- Ability to think creatively and adapt exercise programs to individual patient needs Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Exercise Physiologist, Personal Training Certification, or related healthcare background
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, corrective exercise, or healthcare settings preferred but not required
