Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting clinical operations within a busy chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills (outgoing, friendly), familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and excellent communication abilities. Bilingual proficiency is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment committed to patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage patient flow efficiently using EMR system. (ChiroTouch) Collect payments. Assist with intake procedures, including gathering patient information and updating electronic health records in accordance with HIPAA policies. Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; handle patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with documentation review, and ensuring proper filing of medical records. Ensure compliance with health information management standards and confidentiality protocols under HIPAA guidelines. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, typing (including 10 key typing), and managing office supplies. Support front desk operations by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and providing excellent customer service. Assist in maintaining a clean, well organized work space and office environment. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting, dental clinic experience, or chiropractic practice is highly preferred, but not essential. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and record management. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards and handle sensitive patient information responsibly. Previous clinic or medical administrative support experience is preferred; office experience in healthcare settings is desirable. This role is integral to providing seamless patient care while supporting the operational efficiency of our practice.
