Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Part-Time, Pay Per Visit

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. This is a part-time, pay-per-visit position ideal for a clinician who values flexibility and independence while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, improve patient function, and promote safe mobility in the home environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions in patients' homes under PT supervision Follow established plan of care and document patient progress accurately and timely Communicate effectively with supervising PT regarding patient status and needs Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies Maintain compliance with Medicare and home health documentation standards

Requirements:

Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant Minimum 1 year of home health experience required Strong clinical reasoning and independent decision-making skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
