CPTE, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Merrimack location. About the Role As a Physical Therapist Assistant at CPTE, you'll work closely with Physical Therapists to provide individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities they love. You'll work with a diverse outpatient orthopedic population while collaborating with a supportive clinical team focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
Your day-to-day:
Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall function Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, and functional movement training Assist patients with gait training, transfers, mobility activities, and other functional tasks as appropriate Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and updates with the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and healthy movement patterns to support long-term outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems in compliance with company and state standards Collaborate with Physical Therapists, front office staff, and support teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience Participate in ongoing professional development through mentorship, continuing education, and clinical collaboration opportunities Build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues to support a positive, team-oriented clinic culture Why Join CPTE?
