We're looking for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join a contract travel team in Nashua, NH. This is a 13-week assignment starting ASAP, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. What you'll be doing: Support the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations by collecting medical histories and helping set realistic goals. Deliver prescribed interventions, exercises, and therapeutic modalities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Use therapeutic equipment safely and effectively as part of each patient's rehab plan. Teach patients and their families exercise techniques and home programs to support recovery and long-term function. Document treatments and patient progress accurately in clinical records. Coordinate with the PT and other members of the care team to develop and adjust treatment plans. Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a clean, safe therapy environment. Provide encouragement and emotional support to help patients stay motivated. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
Compensation:
Travel rate: $2,564 per 40 hours Local rate: $2,528 per 40 hours
