Requirements:
Valid, active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed treatment plans. Administer therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment per protocol. Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises; educate patients and families on home programs and self-care. Document treatments, patient progress, and communications accurately and timely. Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies; collaborate with the healthcare team.
