Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator / Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team that travels to both our practices. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, billing, patient check-in and check-out processes, providing exceptional administrative support, and perform other taks as needed . Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment that promotes patient satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative expertise with clinical support in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification including Medicare and Medicaid alongside our billing department Collect and process payments accurately, including medical collections and billing procedures Maintain precise medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with patient intake, updating medical histories, and explaining clinic procedures clearly Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate care plans, administering treatments per providers orders, and other documentation requirements Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Organize filing of medical records and manage office supplies to ensure efficient clinic operations Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms, managing front desk duties, and assisting with clerical tasks such as typing reports or data entry using specialty programs or specialized EHR systems Experience Previous experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and note documentation Proven ability to handle medical billing and collections efficiently while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Demonstrated experience in healthcare administrative support, front desk management, or clinic coordination is highly desirable Excellent computer skills including proficiency in computer applications and health information management software Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting Strong leadership skills or management experience required Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patient care while developing your career in a supportive and fast-paced healthcare environment!
