Job Summary Swift Institute is seeking a Physical Therapy Tech to join our growing health care team. The position will assist the physical therapist in Swift Institute's internal physical therapy clinic. Responsibilities will include assisting in both patient care and administrative functions. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate all exercises in any position including supine, standing, prone, side-lying and sitting with up to 10-15 lbs. of weight. A high level of professional behavior is required for the position. The physical therapy tech must place the patient's safety, comfort, dignity and convenience before all other considerations.
Principle Responsibilities:
Assisting with patient care Assisting the physical therapist with administrative functions Maintain a high level of professional behavior and desire for self development Educational Requirements include: GED or High School Education Exercise Physiology and/or Kinesiology at the college level preferred Background in structured exercise/training/sports is preferred PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Benefits- Our competitive compensation package includes: Location/Facility
